This listing is for 48 flat lids by themselves. There are no bands, rings, screw tops or jars in the box. If you do not already own rings, these lids will not hold on a jar for water bath canning, so please check before ordering.
One box, two sizes.
You receive 24 wide mouth lids at 3.4 inches (86 mm) and 24 regular mouth lids at 2.75 inches (70 mm). This is a mixed pack rather than a single-size pack, so measure the rim of the jars you plan to use.
Tinplate and silicone, plain top.
Each lid pairs a tinplate body with a silicone gasket around the underside. The top is left plain with no date reminder printed on it, so nothing shows through when you label jars your own way.
How people use them.
Pair the lids with an electric mason jar vacuum sealer to store coffee, grains, dry goods and leftovers. They also work as replacement flats for pickles, jams and sauces when you supply your own rings.
